I’m the independent IT consultant behind Clay Mountain Tech. Since 2011, I’ve helped businesses across the Mobile Bay area solve technology problems and make informed decisions.
You work directly with me—from understanding the problem to planning improvements and providing ongoing support. My focus is practical, dependable technology that suits your business and is manageable over time.
How I work
I start by understanding what you need your systems to do. Then we agree on the work, priorities, responsibilities, and how it will be billed. Remote support is the starting point, with onsite work arranged when needed.
My work centers on ongoing business IT care, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, office networks, and clearly defined projects.
Why Clay Mountain?
I founded Clay Mountain Solutions in 2011 after moving from New York City back to my hometown of Montrose, Alabama, on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay.
Ecor Rouge is a beautiful cliff of exposed clay overlooking the bay. When I was little, we called it “Clay Mountain.” The name is a tribute to this place I love.
Clay Mountain Tech is the public-facing name of Clay Mountain Solutions LLC.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Outside of work
I’m based in Fairhope, where I live with my wife and our three kids. Away from the computer, you’ll often find me working on a project of my own or spending time with my family.
